Some startling developments occurred when the leaders of all 16 Commonwealth                            countries met in Perth in late October. Indeed, female members of the Royal Family                           are now on an equal playing field with men when it comes to the rules of succession                           to the throne. This essentially means that if the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge’s                            first child is a girl, she can become Queen even if subsequent children are sons.                            You are welcome to read deeper into this historic development on the BBC,                           Telegraph & Guardian.
